Someone is waiting for your invitation

This morning I arose at 5:30a.m. preparing for a church meeting, at the same time one of our church members was sending out an email testimony, sharing her trials, this Lenten season. Through this shared testimony I saw God working through her. Sunday I preached about living our Christian life out LOUD, in broad DAYLIGHT! The testimony shared this morning did just that for our own church. When we shine our light, other see and respond, when we tell our story others began to know who God is, we are the salt of the world keeping it fresh and tasteful. My member got it- that even in the most trying times of our journey God still gives us a story to tell to the nations. A story of invitation!

Matthew 5:13-16 (NRSV)

"You are the salt of the earth; but if salt has lost its taste, how can its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything, but is thrown out and trampled under foot.

"You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.

Someone is waiting for your story of invitation, they are hurt, broken and ready to give up! Please share your story you can save not only lives but souls. Someone is waiting for your invitation- invite away!
