Listen up!
Now hear this!
Have you not known, have you not heard all the world is God's and everything on it. I arose this morning by the grace of God to tune into more Nuclear threats, Earthquake trimmers, Stock plunges, Clean water scares, Tusnmai cleanups, Public transits bus crashes, murder, violence and political red tape! As I immediately began to sink back into the cozy sheets of my Hilton Hotel room and pull the covers over my head- the words from Isaiah filled my heart ans well as my head saying Get up, and listen. The prophet reminds us today that even though the situation looks bleak a change is on the horizon. God is the ultimate creator and unlike me God does not want to curl up and sleep in, God does not grow weary, or get tired.

Lift up your eyes on high and see: Who created these? He who brings out their host and numbers them, calling them all by name; because he is great in strength, mighty in power, not one is missing. Why do you say, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel, "My way is hidden from the LORD, and my right is disregarded by my God"? Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and strengthens the powerless. Even youths will faint and be weary, and the young will fall exhausted; but those who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
Friends when life makes us want to quit, lock the doors and shut the windows remember that we are all ambassadors of God. Meaning that we are those ordained and empowered by God receiving the power to give hope, speak truth, and offer to all God's awesome invitation to salvation through Jesus! So listen up we are those who God says power is given to, so during days like this I am reminded to get up and wait on God, to stand up and lean on God for in Christ my strength will be renewed, I will not faint nor fail and the Holy Spirit will give me the words to say. Therefore today I say to you Have you not heard? Yes now you have so arise and go on behalf of God speaking life, love and liberation.
