Good morning all, I pray that you are both healthy and happy. As Christians I believe that we all want to be faithful, truthful and righteous under God. However we also know that the road of the faithful is a hard road to travel.
Especially when the world, friends and others constantly remind us that we have the choice of choosing another road! The road of the wicked is not only less stressful but at times seems to be more FUN!I am so glad that we don't fall for the seemingly easiness of the wicked road and stick to the road that God would have for us. Aren't you? During our times of indecision, and confusion I invite you to focus with me on Psalm 1. let's look:
Psalm 1
The Two Ways
1Happy are those
who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or take the path that sinners tread,
or sit in the seat of scoffers; 2but their delight is in the law of the Lord,
and on his law they meditate day and night. 3They are like trees
planted by streams of water, which yield their fruit in its season,
and their leaves do not wither. In all that they do, they prosper.
4The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. 5Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; 6for the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
We all must live our own Christian journey, and chooses which road we will follow. I pray that you and I always walk the faithful road, regardless of how hard it seems at times. Won't you walk with me?
Until next time... Be Well!
Pastor J
