Hidden in plain sight!?!

Have you ever misplaced something and went looking for it everywhere? The next thing you know you notice it right in front of your face, as if the object was hidden in plain sight. Occasionally when we loose our way (backslide) we come looking for God to rescue us from sin, debt,stress, illness and family problems. During these times of tragedy we look for God every where and because we are frantic or anxious we overlook that God is right there in plain sight always. The truth is that if we stay in constant communication with God and seek the presence of the Holy Spirit we will indeed find the knowledge of God and understand God's plan on our lives.
Proverbs 2:1-5 (NRSV)

My child, if you accept my words and treasure up my commandments within you, making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding; if you indeed cry out for insight, and raise your voice for understanding; if you seek it like silver, and search for it as for hidden treasures-- then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God.
