As I grow older and more mature my tolerance for nonsense has lessened and my awareness of my own health has heightened. I know that God wants all of us to take care of ourselves, but now I feel the need to personally take better care of myself in all ways. So I have decided to do just that, when it comes to my physical, mental & emotional health. Todays reflection comes from Paul's 1st letter to the Church at Corinth:
1st Corinthians 10:29-33 (NRSV) 29I mean the other’s conscience, not your own. For why should my liberty be subject to the judgement of someone else’s conscience? 30If I partake with thankfulness, why should I be denounced because of that for which I give thanks?
31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God. 32Give no offence to Jews or to Greeks or to the church of God, 33just as I try to please everyone in everything I do, not seeking my own advantage, but that of many, so that they may be saved.
God want's us to take of both our Spiritual and Mortal bodies, friends today I simply say take care of yourself, guard yourselves, do good, do no harm, and stay in love with God. Let's honor God by taking care of all that God has given us. Amen!be Well, P.J.

Thanks for this message, it is so true. It is so important to take care of our physical and mental health because when we are not healthy, we cannot be helpful to others and we can be less effective in that which God calls us to do.
