Say it with your Chest!

Recently Hollywood and the movies have made famously funny the saying "say it with your chest" via Mr. Kevin Hart. The saying has become increasingly acceptable in urban communities and basically means say or do something with energy, vigor and with all your heart- despite the perceived outcome, it will work out. Daily I make decision based on personal, professional, and communal life. These decisions I make after prayer, thought and deliberation of mind /heart. Once a decision is made it's made, rarely do i second guess myself. I trust my heart and I let my yes mean yes and my no mean no! When I look to the text for today, man I feel that the proverb is echoing the words of Kevin Heart, saying say it with your chest- follow your heart and allow God to direct your decisions & paths! My prayer is that we always put our trust in the Lord with our whole CHEST (heart) and lean on God to direct our daily decisions. Proverbs 3:5-6 (NRSV)
Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
and do not rely on your own insight.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.

That's a great thought, Pastor J! We need to live our whole lives out of that trust in God. It's totally different from man's own understanding.
I haven't heard of the phrase before though, so maybe I've been living under a rock? At any rate, it's a pleasure to see your dedication to the Lord in your writing.
